This room looks like it fell into the paint can.
I have put punchy color in several rooms of my house—most recently my kitchen in warm deep yellowy-green. I have a fairly steady hand with a paintbrush, but I still find that when cutting in a deep color above my head, and against a white ceiling, I start twitching. A few people have shared tricks like painting against a metal edger that is held against the ceiling, but I just think it’s hard to be steady when the blood is draining out of your arms.
I tip my hat to the creative person who decided to saturate their room with this intense turquoise, but leave the upper edge raw, like a deckled page from a beautiful book. I’ll keep this edge in mind for the next room on the list.
